New Side-by-side UVs

Established in 1998 in Tainan county, southern Taiwan, AEON Motor Co, Ltd. has long been recognized as a quality manufacturer of all terrain vehicles (ATV). AEON designs its own engines and power trains, providing the company greater flexibility in development and a better edge in product performance.

A top executive said well-planned tests and strict quality control measures are performed to ensure customers' satisfaction. Currently, the ATVs developed by AEON Motor range from 50cc to 350cc which are distributed worldwide. The new 350 series, with more powerful engines and attractive styling, will be available in spring this year, according to the executive who asked to be identified.

Last year AEON launched its first utility/sports side-by-side vehicle CUBE 300. CUBE X4, a 4WD version, featuring 350cc power system and independent rear suspension, will also be released in the second quarter of 2008. As the first Taiwanese manufacturer of side-by-side UV, AEON Motor is in a position to pursue the opportunity in the fast growing sector. Catering to global market need, the company is building a new plant which is scheduled to be completed in a couple of months.

Future development

With an experienced and strong R&D team, AEON Motor spares no effort in developing new products. Further to its long-existing direction towards engines of larger displacements ranging from 400cc to 700cc, AEON Motor is also working on some scooter and motorcycle projects and a hybrid power system, taking advantage of combustion engine and electric motor. The top executive said most of these new products can be seen in the market beginning from 2009.
