Established in 1997 in Tainan county, southern Taiwan , Chian-Ye Industrial Co. Ltd. is a manufacturer of high-performance parts and components for racing motorcycles. The company possesses development and design capabilities as well.

Annie Chen, assistant of the sales department, said the company began to export only more than two years ago, with 20 to 30 percent of its output being shipped abroad. The remaining 70 to 80 percent of production goes to the local market, largely motorcycle retail outlets.

In terms of export, the sales assistant said, Europe and the United States are the main destinations, with each taking 30 percent. The remaining 40 percent of overseas shipments are distributed among countries in Japan , South Korea and Southeast Asia.

Chien-Ye Industrial registered 10 to 20 percent increase in export last year. "We are eager to expand our export sales over the next several years by constantly upgrading our product quality and seeking more buyers overseas," said Annie Chen. Realizing that participation in international trade shows will be of help to soliciting more overseas orders, the company therefore has planned to take part in or visit several trade shows this year and beyond, in South Korea , the U.S. , Germany and Italy .

Pursuing high-quality motorcycle parts and accessories is the top priority of the company, according to Annie Chen. In addition to racing motorcycles, the company also develops parts and accessories for scooters and ATVs.
